University of Canterbury

With around 15,000 students, the University of Canterbury has a vibrant student community and a diverse range of study options. The University now has five Colleges - Arts, Education, Engineering, Science, and Business and Law and offers an extensive network of research field stations for student and staff, including facilities in Antarctica.



Ara Institute of Canterbury

Ara Institute of Canterbury is situated right in the middle of all the central city action. It specialises in education for employment, from architectural studies and broadcasting to web development and welding. Almost half of all Ara programmes include work-integrated learning.



Lincoln University

Lincoln University, on the outskirts of Christchurch, is New Zealand’s specialist land-based university. Some of their unique qualifications include agribusiness, landscape architecture, viticulture, tourism management, sport and recreation management, environmental management and planning, and the bio-sciences.
