College House

Perhaps the most traditional and values-based University of Canterbury accommodation is College House. It caters for 144 residents and requires either an interview or detailed CV and application. This more expensive accommodation retains traditions like formal dining three nights a week where students wear formal dress and academic gowns.



University of Canterbury Accommodation Student Village

Located 5 minutes walk from campus and further away from 298 Westside, this student village is operated by Campus Living Villages New Zealand Ltd and is a more modern, home-like accommodation environment.



Rochester and Rutherford Hall

This particular accommodation at University of Canterbury is the closest hall to the major university buildings, Student Events Centre, Health Centre and Recreation Centre. Catering up to 178 residents, this accommodation is in three four-storied blocks and is a good choice if food, facilities and community life and academic achievement is of importance to you.
